Our Mission
​
We are a student-led organization founded by Saumya Tiku, dedicated to bringing happiness in the lives of seniors in retirement facilities by small acts of kindness. We strive to make a difference in our community by spreading joy and positivity to isolated seniors. All it takes is one letter to put a smile on their face and light up their day. We are a completely volunteer-based organization, encouraging others to join us in creating positive change.
What We Do
In order to fulfill our mission, we are sending letters, cards, music, artwork, poems and short stories virtually to our partnered retirement facilities in Ottawa, Ontario. It is simple and from the comfort of your home. We welcome all to participate! We also offer community service hours for high school students.
We would greatly appreciate it if you could spread the word about our organization.
To date, we have over 2000 volunteers from all around the world (over 5 different countries) and have collected thousands of submissions!
